Due to our continued growth, we’re looking for Collections Officers to join our Auckland based team, working across early collections, late collections, and recoveries. This is a varied, end‑to‑end opportunity where you’ll build deep capability across the full collections lifecycle, while still keeping the customer at the centre of everything you do.

**Previous collections experience is not essential. If you bring strong customer engagement skills and a genuine interest in starting a career in finance, we are keen to invest in you, provide training and help you grow within the industry**

You’ll be part of a supportive, high performing team in our brand new Auckland office, complete with ocean views, a free onsite gym/sauna, golf simulator and reformer Pilates studio, as well as the flexibility of one day working from home.

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing customer accounts across early collections, late collections, and recoveries
  • Engaging with customers via phone and email to understand their circumstances and agree on realistic solutions
  • Identifying customers experiencing hardship and supporting appropriate next steps
  • Negotiating and managing payment arrangements while monitoring ongoing performance
  • Escalating accounts appropriately in line with policy and regulatory requirements
  • Maintaining accurate, detailed records of customer interactions and outcomes
  • Operating with a strong focus on compliance, integrity, and customer fairness

What you’ll bring

  • Experience in collections, credit, customer service, or a contact centre environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to handle challenging conversations professionally and empathetically
  • Confidence working across multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Sound judgement and a solution focused mindset
  • High attention to detail and comfort working with systems and processes
  • A collaborative, team‑focused approach and willingness to learn across different areas of collections
