Senior Software Engineer

At Motorcentral Technologies, we build the platforms that power modern automotive sales industry solutions, and we build fintech solutions that enable our parent company, Avanti Finance, to deliver market-leading finance products in Australia and New Zealand.

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a backend focus to lead technical initiatives, optimise system performance, and architect scalable solutions.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems using .NET Core / .NET Framework
• Architect and implement high-performance RESTful APIs
• Build and integrate AI-powered features and services to enhance platform intelligence
• Manage and optimise relational databases and data-intensive applications
• Drive internal system integrations and modernise legacy backend solutions
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring solutions
• Collaborate with front-end teams to deliver seamless integrations
• Mentor developers and champion best practices for scalable backend architecture

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Expert-level proficiency with .NET Core / .NET Framework
• Strong experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs
• Experience with SQL and optimisation techniques
• Track record with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools
• Ability to mentor and lead technical initiatives
