Senior Business Development Manager - NSW
Branded Financial is growing – fast
We’re on a mission to become the best specialist lending company in New Zealand and Australia, and we’re looking for ambitious, driven people to help get us there.
We’ve got bold goals and a clear vision for the future. That means exciting opportunities for those ready to champion new ideas, challenge the status quo, and grow alongside us.
If you’re hungry to make an impact, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and love turning ideas into action – you’ll feel right at home here.
The role
Avanti Finance Group is expanding. In Australia, our auto asset lending division, Branded Financial Services (BFS), has a rare opportunity for an experienced and relationship driven Business Development Manager to join our team in Sydney.
You’ll take ownership of an established territory across NSW, inheriting a large, active portfolio while continuing to grow and develop our broker and dealer presence.
This is a true hit the ground running role. You’ll step into a warm desk with hundreds of existing introducers, focused on strengthening relationships, maximising value through aggregator networks, and bringing on new business. With support from a highly experienced national team, including a desk based BDM who manages lower volume accounts, you’ll be able to focus on key relationships and growth.
Working alongside another NSW BDM, you’ll operate across a defined territory while contributing to key accounts and broader strategic initiatives across the state.
What you’ll be doing
- Manage and grow an established portfolio of brokers and dealers across NSW and ACT
- Maximise value from existing introducers and aggregator networks
- Identify and convert new business opportunities
- Develop and execute a regional strategy to deliver against targets
- Build and execute Key Account Strategies
- Maintain structured call plans and engagement activity
- Deliver training to introducers on products and lending requirements
- Stay across market trends, competitor activity and credit appetite
- Act as a trusted, responsive point of contact
About you
You’re an experienced BDM in asset finance who knows the market and can bring immediate credibility. You have existing broker relationships, understand aggregator networks, and know how to convert activity into volume.
You’re commercially driven, confident managing a busy portfolio, and equally strong at growing existing relationships as you are winning new ones.
You’ll also bring:
- Asset finance or lending experience - essential
- Established broker relationships
- Exposure to dealer networks is advantageous
- Strong track record of achieving sales targets
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
You’re someone who takes ownership, brings energy to the role, and is motivated to build on a strong foundation while growing your presence in market.
Our values keep us grounded
Even as we scale, our values remain our compass:
* People First: We care deeply – for our team, our customers, our partners, and our communities. This is a place where you’re supported to show up as yourself and do your best work.
* Relentlessly Helpful: We roll up our sleeves and make things happen. Whether it’s helping a customer, an introducer, a teammate, or your own career, we’re here to make the impossible possible.
* Do What’s Right: No shortcuts. No ego. Just doing the right thing, every time. Trust and transparency are at the heart of how we do business.
We’re building a workplace where people are challenged, supported, and inspired to do their best work – because when our people thrive, so does our business.
At Branded Financial Services, you’ll be joining a team that’s as ambitious as it is grounded in purpose. We’re not just growing fast – we’re growing to be the best.
Come be part of something that’s making a real difference.
Respectfully, no agencies please.
