Marketing Manager

You'll take responsibility for our Australian marketing portfolio, along with our Auto and Personal Lending portfolios in New Zealand. Working closely with stakeholders across both countries, you’ll deliver marketing activity that drives growth, engagement and brand awareness.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you'll plan and deliver marketing activity across your portfolios. This is a broad role with plenty of variety. One day you might be launching a new campaign, the next developing customer communications, managing advertising activity, updating website content or creating collateral. We're looking for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, getting things done and taking ownership of outcomes.

You'll join a collaborative marketing team where you'll have support when you need it, but you'll also be trusted to bring ideas forward, build relationships and drive initiatives from concept through to delivery.

What you'll do

• Own and deliver marketing activity across our Australian portfolio and Auto and Personal Lending in New Zealand
  

• Develop and execute marketing plans, campaigns and communications aligned to business objectives
  

• Create content across digital channels including email, web and social media
  

• Manage advertising activity and agency relationships
  

• Deliver customer lifecycle and data-driven marketing initiatives
  

• Maintain website content, marketing collateral and customer communications
  

• Analyse campaign performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  

• Partner closely with sales, product, lending and leadership teams
  

• Support events, presentations, sales tools and other business development initiatives
  

• Contribute ideas that help improve customer engagement, brand awareness and commercial outcomes

  
  

What we're looking for

You're likely already working as a Marketing Manager of a particular portfolio, or you're operating at that level within a larger team and looking for more scope and ownership.

You enjoy having responsibility and you're confident enough to influence stakeholders, challenge constructively when needed and build credibility across the business.

We're looking for someone who brings:

• Around 7 or more years of marketing experience
  

• Broad exposure across campaigns, communications and content
  

• Experience with customer lifecycle or retention marketing
  

• Strong written communication and attention to detail
  

• Commercial thinking and an interest in understanding business performance
  

• Confidence working with stakeholders at different levels
  

• A proactive approach and a willingness to bring ideas forward
  

• Curiosity, initiative and a genuine desire to keep learning
  

Experience within financial services, insurance or another regulated industry would be beneficial, but it isn't essential.
