The role

Reporting to the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, you’ll be the go‑to finance expert for key business areas, with a strong focus on project reporting and operational delivery. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll “do the doing” alongside leaders - using data to tell a clear story, challenge thinking, and shape decisions that matter.

You will:

  • Build trusted partnerships with executives and business leaders to deliver operational and project insights.
  • Collaborate on budgets, forecasts and KPIs, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals.
  • Provide clear financial analysis and insights to support decision-making on projects and initiatives.
  • Deliver analysis on project spend and drive accountability on ocst management and benefit tracking.
  • Produce KPI dashboards and reporting that link operational performance to financial outcomes.
  • Deliver commentary and actionable insights to help leaders improve results and manage risks.
  • Support the Head of FP&A, CFO, and Executive team with modelling, projections and scenario analysis.
  • Identify risks and opportunities through close collaboration with finance and operational teams.
  • Build financial models to assess new products, market expansion and strategic initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement by streamlining and standardising processes.
What you’ll bring
  • CA/CPA (or equivalent) qualification or working towards it.
  • 5+ years’ experience in financial/business analysis, reporting or commercial finance - financial services experience is a plus.
  • Confident communication skills to talk numbers across all business units, influencing decisions and building trust.
  • Strong skills in financial modelling, forecasting and scenario analysis, with advanced Excel and familiarity with Power BI.
  • Ability to turn raw data into clear insights and communicate complex information simply.
  • A mindset driven by continuous improvement and a belief in being proactive and hands-on, with an agile, resilient and positive approach
  • Commitment to integrity, compliance and risk management.
