We’ve got bold goals and a clear vision for the future. That means exciting opportunities for those ready to champion new ideas, challenge the status quo, and grow alongside us.
If you’re hungry to make an impact, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and love turning ideas into action – you’ll feel right at home here.
Reporting to the General Manager, Strategic Delivery. We are seeking a hands-on, strategic, and technically capable Data & Analytics Lead to establish and grow our data function from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity for a data all-rounder who thrives in fast-paced, data-hungry environments and is ready to roll up their sleeves to build a high-impact data capability that will power decision-making across the business. As we invest to strengthen our data capability, you will play a foundational role in shaping our data strategy, contribute to infrastructure, and culture. You’ll be responsible for setting up the core data function - including governance, frameworks, and foundational tools together with IT- while simultaneously delivering value through reporting, automation, and self-service enablement.
As the Data & Analytics Lead, you can expect to:
- Establish and implement the organisation’s data charter, governance model, and foundational practices, including data dictionaries, registers, and metadata management tools.
- Assess current data maturity and create a clear roadmap for iterative improvements to uplift the current state quickly and sustainably.
- Define and lead the strategic direction for how data is collected, managed, and leveraged, working closely with IT to align architecture and infrastructure.
- Identify opportunities to apply AI and advanced analytics to drive performance and unlock new value for the business.
- Support business users with data requests and reporting needs, champion data literacy, and embed a data-driven culture that enables automation and self-service analytics.
- Ensure data sharing practices are secure, compliant, and practical, maintaining data integrity and privacy when collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
We are looking for candidates we are looking for:
You are an experienced, hands-on data leader who thrives on bridging strategy with execution. With a strong technical mindset and collaborative spirit, you're passionate about using data to create clarity, unlock performance, and drive business transformation. This is your opportunity to architect a greenfield data function with full executive support, in a business that truly values data as a strategic asset. You’ll shape how data and AI power innovation, while working alongside passionate, purpose-driven teams who are committed to making a difference.
- Proven experience in data leadership or advanced data roles within fast-paced or scaling environments, with the ability to balance hands-on delivery and strategic planning.
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong technical capability across data engineering, analytics, and visualisation tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau) and modern cloud data platforms such as Azure or Databricks.
- Solid understanding of data governance, privacy, and compliance frameworks, with experience managing external vendors or partners to deliver outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data concepts for technical and non-technical stakeholders, and a solutions-focused, self-directed approach to enabling others through data.
