What’s the role?
The purpose of this role is to provide accounts payable expertise across the Avanti Group:
- End to end management of the accounts payable function for Avanti Finance and all subsidiaries, including invoice processing, payments, supplier onboarding, statement reconciliations and maintaining accurate records
- Record and reconcile daily bank transactions, journals and accounts including accounts payable, accounts receivable and credit card clearing accounts using FinConnect and NetSuite
- Use Approval Plus, Extractor and NetSuite to process creditor invoices and generate payment files for banking platforms
- Maintain accounts payable systems and deliver associated monthly reporting, including Adra reconciliations
- Administer SAP Concur and corporate card and fuel card programmes, including claims, queries, access management, limits, activation and deactivation, GST and tax settings, workflow approvals, and journal entries, with integration support into NetSuite
- Manage broker commission administration, including broker set ups, monthly commission payments, clawback calculations, reconciliations, invoicing and recovery actions in coordination with the BFS team
- Perform month end processes, including residual purchase order reviews, accrual calculations, closing accounts payable ledgers, and preparation of reconciliations and management reports
- Support audit processes by responding to auditor queries and providing accurate transactional and reconciliation support at year end
- Assist with the optimisation of systems, processes and applications to improve accuracy and efficiency
We are looking for candidates who have:
- At least 2 years experience in a similar Accounts Payable role, using a large ERP system. Bonus if you have used NetSuite!
- Experience working with multiple, international currencies (AUD, NZD, USD)
- Accounting degree preferred
- Financially aware with a good grounding in the basic fundamentals of accounting
- Be masterful at multi-tasking and keeping pace in a dynamic and fast paced environment. Roll your sleeves up and get stuck in with a one-team approach
